Karijini 2010
We had another wonderful trip to Karijini this year. We explored new gorges along with all the old favourites. This year we had the added excitement of evacuating to a sheep station for the last night.

Blue Moon Wedding
Many of you know that Steve and I were married on the evening of 30th March- a blue moon. It was a fabulous night, the air was still and warm and we paddled to the ceremony. It was a great night of dancing and fun and frivolity. Steve made the dance floor a couple of days before the wedding- and then taught himself the modern waltz from U-tube. Click here for some photos.
Steve is now a temporary resident and is allowed to work. So if you need any handy man jobs, especially woodworking or furniture restoration, you can contact him on 93782523.
Christmas/Cocos Island
I now have the information for this trip, which is happening between the 4th and 14th December. I loved Christmas Island last year and and am looking forward to seeing Cocos as well this year. The walks are great, but the snorkelling is the best I've seen anywhere. Add to this some amazing birdlife, those bizarre crabs and it's a truly unique experience. Click here for the details.
Spring Walking trips
The Cape to Cape is now full, though I often get cancellations, so if you had hoped to come, still contact me. There are still spaces left on the Albany to Denmark and Walpole to Denmark trips. Click here for that information.
Paddling
These are the up and coming paddle trips:
Thursday 24th June: Paddling the Serpentine
Thursday 5th August: Paddling the Upper Canning
Friday 20th August: Paddling the Upper Swan
Contact me if you are interested in any of these day trips.
Combination CTC and Bibbulmun trip
In April we did a very interesting trip which combined (what I declared to be) the best of the Cape to Cape and the Bibbulmun near Denmark. Three days on each. Click here to read about it.
Astronavigation
We had our most popular Astronavigation weekend ever back in March, with 18 eager navigators. At first we thought we were in for a cloudy night, but the sky cleared and it was a fantastic night of stars. And some very successful navigation too!
