2010 Trip Dates
At last I have the dates, prices and itineraries for the main trips of 2010.
Karijini: This trip runs from 9th-19th May, flying into Newman and out of Karratha. You'll enjoy 6 days in Karijini NP and then a couple of days in the Chichester Ranges. We've minimised the driving for you to make it more walking and swimming! There has been a fair amount of interest in this one, so best to book early. Click here for more details.
Kimberley: August 3rd-12th: this trip focuses on the eastern end, flying in and out of Kununurra, again minimising the driving. We visit the Keep River National Park in the Northern Territory and then go to the Bungles followed by El Questro Wilderness Park. Some wonderful sights without lots of hours on the road. Click here for more details.
Cape To Cape: The perennial favourite! October 2nd-9th. Book now before the National Geographic article on the Cape to Cape comes out in April! Click here for more details.
Albany to Denmark: October 24th-30th. A great walk not requiring too much physical exertion! Click here.
Walpole to Denmark: My favourite! November 7th-15th. The best of the coast and forest, with some wonderful granite boulders thrown in! Click here.
Christmas and Cocos Islands: December 4th-14th. We have a week on Christmas Island, exploring the rainforest with its crabs and amazing birdlife. The snorkelling too is stunning. Then you'll have 3 days to relax on the contrasting Cocos Island with its sandy beaches and swaying palms. Virgin has been awarded the flight contract this year, but we don't have the prices yet, so stay tuned.
The Cape to Cape, and Walpole to Denmark walking tours are being offered at 2009 prices!!!
Astronavigation March 20th
We only offer this once a year, so if you haven't done it yet, better think about it. It's a wonderful night spent in the desert behind the Pinnacles, searching for markers using only the stars as your guide! Click here for more information.
Combined CTC and Bibbulmun Opportunity
In April I'm running a trip for a group from the East Coast- we'll be walking 3 days of the Cape to Cape and 3 days of the Bibbulmun track near Denmark. The trip also includes the fabulous Walpole Wilderness Cruise on Nornalup Inlet and the Tree Top Walk. We have a couple of vacancies on this trip. If anyone would like to join us, let me know ASAP. The trip runs from 6th-14th April and the all inclusive price is $2600. Click here
if you think you'd like to come and I can send you the detailed itinerary.

We'll be using long sea kayaks with rudders. We need to know by Weds 10th Feb if you are interested in this one. It's another trip organised with the Glyde-In so you need to phone them on 93393964. Or, if you want more information, contact me. The cost is $960.
Anyone for Austria??
On our Albany to Denmark walk last year, Patrick Guiton, a serial recidivist with Inspiration Outdoors, brought along a friend from Austria, Kate Matthews. It was Kate's first trip to Australia and she loved it. And we loved her. British born Kate has lived in Austria for the last 30 years and just happens to be a tour guide. So the cogs started turning..... We're looking at a walking tour of Austria in May 2010. The walking would be based in 2 areas-Seefeld and Schladming, the usual recipe of day walks with comfortable overnight accommodation. Google these places- they look great! The trip would also include visits to Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna. What an opportunity! Please let me know if you are interested. Click here.
